Log 01/About Me

Raised on the water,
certified at sea.

Sailing has been part of my life since I was 8 years old. I grew up sailing with my stepfather on his Beneteau Oceanis 461, where I learned not just how to sail, but what life onboard a cruising yacht is really like — responsibility, decision-making, and respect for the sea.

I completed my RYA Day Skipper (Theory & Practical) and VHF Marine Radio (SRC) through Grenada Bluewater Sailing in June 2024, and have sailed monohulls and catamarans around Grenada and most of the West Indies up to Guadeloupe — learning local conditions, anchorages, coastal navigation and customs formalities.

Today my focus is growing a business as a sailboat skipper and helping others do the same — especially new yacht owners and developing sailors who want to truly understand their boats and feel confident taking command at sea.

What does White Dog Sailing do?

Yes. White Dog Sailing delivers yachts from Grenada to anywhere in the Caribbean and worldwide, for both monohulls and catamarans.

Can you help me get insurance sign-off on a new boat?

Yes. If your insurer requires sea miles with a captain onboard, White Dog Sailing sails mile-building passages with you and can stay onboard during your first weeks of ownership.

Do you teach people who are new to sailing?

Yes. Training is practical and hands-on: boat handling, sail trim, coastal navigation and pilotage, anchoring, mooring and customs formalities — for new and developing sailors who want to feel confident taking command.
